A letdown in the context of the show

Warning: Spoilers
I've really enjoyed this show thus far, however, the forced suspense of the bridge scene (the bomb... very cliché, very Hollywood) and the drawn out drowning of Marco's son was a real letdown compared to the far more complex story lines that have occurred previously. One of the things I have enjoyed about this show, and many others of recent times, is the ability of the writers to engage the audience with complex story lines that have strayed from the mainstream gibberish that is all too common. I am dumbfounded how the writers could have succumbed to the obvious and overdone plots when their existing plot has been so superior. Maybe they hit a writers block or something? Regardless, this is the only episode that has bored me thus far. I hope this is not a sign of what's to follow. As such, this episode deserves a 1 out of 10.
