During the celebration of his firstborn son Mokhtar's arrival, Aref, a tanner by profession, finds himself embroiled in a renewed conflict with the farmers over access to the river's water.
After assisting Badeea and her daughter with necessary supplies, Aref carries out a heinous deed. Meanwhile, Hadeel challenges Shahine, Aref's son, following his purchase of all the leather stock from Umm Juma.
Abu Hadeel attempts to exploit a secret of Aref's as a means of blackmail. Meanwhile, Mokhtar collaborates with Juma and enlists the help of lawyer Abeer in a scheme against Shahin.
Abu Hadeel is compelled to keep quiet regarding a situation that occurred at his factory. Mokhtar hatches a plot to ensnare Yaseen, as Sukkar coerces Abu Riyad into succumbing to her conditions.
Shahin compels Marwa to reveal her reasons for framing Yaseen. Sokkar turns to Yaman for assistance in preventing her brother's imprisonment. Subsequently, Juma shows Mokhtar the video he recorded.
A fight erupts between Shahine and Mokhtar over the video. Abeer confides her feelings for Mokhtar to Yahya. Later, Abu Hadeel joins forces with Juma to target Shahine.
Marwa admits to Yaseen the real reason she needs money. Abeer reveals her true feelings for Mokhtar. Later, Sokkar considers resolving her conflict with the latter.
Sokkar is forced to deal with an old vendetta threatening to destroy her life, only realising later that seeking vengeance would mean allying with the devil.
