Spot the Pineapple: at the Psych office behind Shawn on the black shelf.
Betsy Brannigan (Mira Sorvino) named her Colt 1911 sidearms after two iconic female outlaws, one real and the other fictional. The first, Belle Starr (1848-1889), was an actual gunslinger who rode with the James-Younger Gang and other mid-19th century criminals. Brannigan's second pistol, Beatrix Kiddo, is named after the fictional main character (aka "The Bride") played by Uma Thurman in Quentin Tarantino's "Kill Bill" films Kill Bill: Vol. 1 (2003) and Kill Bill: Vol. 2 (2004).
Guest stars Mira Sorvino and Vincent Ventresca starred together in Romy and Michele's High School Reunion (1997).
Hazel (Yvette Nicole Brown) at one point says 'Don't you judge me!'. This was a catchphrase of Brown's character Shirley on the show Community (2009).
At about the 31-minute mark Shawn calls Hazel "Witchipoo" who was the main villain on the children's Saturday morning, live-action TV show H.R. Pufnstuf (1969). The show was produced by Sid Krofft and Marty Krofft and featured life-sized puppets along with theater actress Billie Hayes as "Witchipoo" and British child actor Jack Wild as "Jimmy" (Wild played The Artful Dodger in the musical film Oliver! (1968) which won the Oscar for Best Picture of 1968).
