Plot Summary

THE ART OF LIVNG unveils the unsung heroic figure of Marlene Kamish, Chicago Defense attorney and 'might of right' woman who wrestles and successfully pins down the state of Illinois on seemingly impossible death row cases. We discover Marlene in 1995 supported unquestioningly by her paralegal sidekick Fabio Guevara, taking on the last-hope case of Michael Alvarez. Wrongfully convicted at 17 years of age, Alvarez has now spent twelve years on Death Row for the killing of a Chicago Police Officer in 1984. Alvarez's innocence is revealed through a shocking and provocative story line, which back tracks in time to reveal the truth behind the killing of the Police Officer. Written by Tempting Films
