The first season of Thunderbirds Are Go is available on Amazon Prime and the second season is set to hit November 4th. Thunderbirds Are Go is a reinvention of the classic Thunderbirds, using a mixture of CGI animation and live-action model sets, and features the world's most famous family of heroes, International Rescue. The Amazon exclusive follows the Tracy brothers and their covert operative Kayo as they pilot their cutting-edge Thunderbird vehicles through near-impossible rescue missions ranging from the depths of the oceans to the highest reaches of space. Season two will continue to follow the team during their rescue adventures and Kayo's connection to International Rescue's arch nemesis, The Hood, will be revealed. The reanimated Thunderbirds are ready for takeoff.

Thunderbirds Are Go, a remake of the 1960s British television series which consists of a unique mixture of CGI animation and live-action model sets, will make its Stateside debut on Amazon Prime Friday, April 15, it was announced Thursday.

Following a one-hour sneak preview entitled “Rings of Fire Parts 1 and 2,” the 13-episode Season 1 will be made available to binge in its entirety on April 22. Three additional seasons have already been ordered by Amazon (some of which have already aired across the pond).

Pukeko Pictures' Thunderbirds redo heads to Amazon

Thunderbirds Are Go, produced by ITV Studios and Nz's Pukeko Pictures and starring (the voice of) Rosamund Pike, will launch in the Us as an Amazon Original Kids Series on Prime Video, following an exclusive, multi-year deal between Amazon and ITV Studios Global Entertainment.

The first 13 episodes will launch on Prime Video in the Us later this year, and subsequently debut on Prime Video in the UK, Germany and Austria.

The show was made in collaboration with Weta Workshop, and has been sold to the ABC in Australia as well as over forty other countries worldwide.

Amazon has today announced today that it will become the U.S. home for the UK animated series "Thunderbirds Are Go" from ITV Studios Global Entertainment.

Four seasons of thirteen episodes each have been ordered with the first to debut on Prime Video later this year in the U.S., U.K., Germany and Austria.

The new series reboots the classic franchise and combines CGI animation and live-action model sets to deliver the story of the five brave Tracy brothers who run International Rescue.

Rosamund Pike is onboard to play Lady Penelope while David Graham will reprise his role as her chauffeur Parker. The series is produced by ITV Studios and Pukeko Pictures in collaboration with Weta Workshop.
