A compassionate man
8 September 2016 | by (Buffalo, New York) – See all my reviews

Two very good story lines are involved in this Blue Bloods episode. The main one involves Donnie Wahlberg and Marc Blucas who plays an action/adventure film star who is doing a ride along with Wahlberg for his next film.

Blucas gets a lot more action than he bargained for when he gets stabbed after picking up a man for a little tryst. He calls Wahlberg on his cell when that happens and Wahlberg does what he can within limits to keep him closeted. He does have responsibilities and we know Danny Reagan takes those seriously. Blucas may be the only link they have who can trap a homophobic predator.

Tom Selleck has the distasteful duty of personally investigating a long time police lieutenant in charge of night watch at a precinct. The real story of why this man is goofing off is a tragic one, but Selleck is a compassionate man, never more so than in this story.
