How's your junk?

Warning: Spoilers
Steph (Jodie Grundin), after some murders, becomes off and on possessed. Her hotter virgin roommate Liz (Kate Nichols) has issues at an archaeological dig that is related to the possession issue or else they wouldn't have showed it. Add in a demon, college professor from Long Beach, a voice distorter, and some float wires and you got a film worth missing.

The acting was stiff. Kate Nichols was easy on the eye. She had good and bad scenes, while everyone else had all bad scenes. The title comes from some bizarre Native American curse apparently related to the Rolling Rock label. Jodie Grundin was laughable as a demon. Might have some MST value.

Guide: F-word. sex. No nudity.

As dull as dishwater

Warning: Spoilers
THE 28TH DAY: THE WRATH OF STEPH is a wannabe possession movie made on no budget whatsoever. There isn't much supernatural content which is due to the film's almost entire lack of budget, and instead this is more like a slow-paced character drama. There's a great deal of wandering around, some very bad supporting actors chewing the scenery, and a not-bad shooting style. It's a pity that the writer has no idea what they're trying to achieve here.
