Jeremy Danvers : [heading her off] Elena, I know you would do anything you could to help Clay.
Elena Michaels : Santos asked to meet me.
Jeremy Danvers : [as Nick closes in on her from behind] You know I can't let you do that.
[she tries to slip past, but they catch her]
Elena Michaels : Let me go!
[carried off to the cell]
Elena Michaels : Please! I have to save him!
[door slams]
Elena Michaels : You're locking me in?
Jeremy Danvers : Until this is done!
Elena Michaels : Jeremy, I was trying to save Clay!
Jeremy Danvers : So am I. And I cannot let you compromise my negotiations with Santos.
Elena Michaels : Please don't do this.
Jeremy Danvers : I let you go to Toronto because I thought you would be safe. And I was wrong. And I know that you would do anything to help Clay. The only place that I can keep you safe, is in here.
Elena Michaels : I know what you're doing, Jeremy. You think if you offer yourself for Clay, you can end this. But you can't trust Santos. He could kill you and Clay.
Jeremy Danvers : I know. I don't trust Santos. But right now, the most important thing for me is to protect you - from yourself.
[lightly strokes her hand]
Jeremy Danvers : Nick and I will deal with this.
[turns, leaving her caged, goes off]
Elena Michaels : [calling after him] Jeremy! Let me out of here!

Elena Michaels : Tell me where they're holding Clay.
Victor Olson : [tied up in bathtub, wistfully looking up at her] All this rage I had. Then I see your face - your beautiful, beautiful face.
Elena Michaels : Tell me!
Victor Olson : Or?
Elena Michaels : You'll live to regret it.
Victor Olson : I thought we were friends.

Elena Michaels : I didn't see anything.
Jeremy Danvers : You know I couldn't take that chance.
Elena Michaels : [shocking realization] You thought that I saw you change, so you were gonna kill me?
Jeremy Danvers : I didn't have a choice, Elena.
Elena Michaels : [upsets, gets up from chair] And Clay bit me to give me another chance at living.
Jeremy Danvers : He defied my orders to save you, yes.
Elena Michaels : All this time I blamed him for ruining my life.
Jeremy Danvers : He was always the faithful son. And he was willing to accept... my burden to protect the relationship between you and I.
Elena Michaels : [dismayed] You let him carry that?
Jeremy Danvers : I... questioned myself every day whether I should tell you... the truth. I'm sorry, Elena. I did what I thought was best for the pack.
Elena Michaels : But it wasn't what was best for me, Jeremy! Or for Clay!
Jeremy Danvers : No, and Clay chose to make that sacrifice. Just like you made a sacrifice to save him.
Elena Michaels : [in turmoil] All this time.
Jeremy Danvers : Yeah. All this time... Clay has been the most trustworthy person you've ever known.
