Storyline

Enthusiastic about cool payment in kind, like lobster they could not afford, Burt and Virginia convince their simpleton neighbors to organize an 'alternative' barter system. It works but people bicker over the exchange value of goods and services, so the next step is a fake currency, 'Burt bucks'. Jimmy finds himself the easy victim of the supermarket's reinstated ex-con clerk and Sabrina's attempts to restore her humiliated husband's confidence keep backfiring. The Chance couple can't resist the temptation to print and spend a lot they never earned, which causes a devastating devaluation. Written by KGF Vissers
