Storyline

Barbie's execution is interrupted by the dome, which seems to have become magnetized. Rachel rescues a drowning girl in the lake and is assisted by a former EMT who lives nearby. He thinks he recognizes the girl. Rebecca Pine, a high school teacher, tells Barbie she thinks the dome's electromagnetic force is interfering with people's brain waves causing the hallucinations, seizures and unconsciousness many are suffering from. While Rebecca works on building a magnet to counteract the force, Angie thinks this is happening because they did not kill Big Jim as their vision showed them. Big Jim is trapped in his underground bunker where he has an unexpected visitor. Written by garykmcd

Trivia

In an interview with Los Angeles Times, Stephen King, the writer of the original "Under the Dome" book, said he was "jealous" of George R. R. Martin for writing few episodes on HBO's series Game of Thrones (which based on source material George himself wrote) and that what inspired King to write the season premiere of the second season of Under the Dome. Angie McAlister: [to Big Jim] You know, it was a good thing I wasn't up on those gallows with you. 'Cause I'd have kicked out that trap door and danced while you hung on the end of the rope.

What happened?!
5 July 2014 | by See all my reviews

Hi, my name is ZeeBee, and I was a fan of Under The Dome.

(Hi, ZeeBee)

I wasn't eager to admit it, but I really liked the show. The premise sounded silly, but since it was based on a story by Stephen King, I would give it a shot. For me, the secret to enjoying King was to check any demand on reality at the door and just listen to the man's story, because more often than not, it was going to be good.

I watched 'Heads Will Roll' for 15 minutes, and all I could think was, "what happened?!" It was nothing like the 1st season. It was if the director and editing staff was replaced by high school students that hated the show. I couldn't even watch the whole episode.

I'm not going to say I'll never watch it again, but whatever they lost from season 1 had better be found - and quick.
