Arthur gets his chance, a radio play is offered to him after an actor has to pull out, unfortunately Arthur struggles with the lines, and clashes with his new colleagues.
There are some side splitting lines and moments from the very off. That moment where Michael tried to teach Arthur his lines, it's a belly laugh moment. The discussion about the script, it's incredible, a dead salmon in the toilet, it's outrageously funny.
To land Lindsay Duncan, that shows how much went into this marvellous show, that voice of hers is just velvety, you can see she's enjoying every moment of it.
I am so excited to be seeing Count Arthur on stage soon. I wish this show hadn't ended, this kind of humour should have run for some time.
