Johnny seems a little shy and boyish in interviewing Liz, who, nearing her 60th birthday, had never previously appeared on his show -- ostensibly out of fear of the live audience.
With a helmet of teased black hair, noticeably rouged cheeks, and a tailored leather motorcycle jacket, Liz comes across as casual, playful, and quick on her feet as the two banter on such topics as staying power in the business and serial marriage.
Liz describes her construction-worker husband Larry Fortensky as an understanding companion as she struggled with addiction. She discusses how she and her unlikely friend Michael Jackson both grew up as child stars who suffered from loneliness.
In all, an engaging 10 minutes!
