Michael C. Hall,
There's a mystery afoot in Gotham City, and Batman must go toe-to-toe with a mysterious vigilante, who goes by the name of Red Hood. Subsequently, old wounds reopen and old, once buried memories come into the light.
Robin is sent to work with the Teen Titans after his volatile behavior botches up a Justice League mission. The Titans must then step up to face Trigon after he possesses the League and threatens to conquer the world.
Ocean Master's appearance at the end of the film is a nod to the Aquaman/Justice League crossover event "Throne of Atlantis", one of the comic book crossovers in the New 52. His appearance is a hint towards the upcoming animated film adaption Justice League: Throne of Atlantis (2015). See more »
When Shazam says his own name to introduce himself to the other heroes, the lightning that transforms him from Billy Batson to Shazam, and vice versa, does not strike. However in the New 52 continuity (upon which this film is based), the word "SHAZAM" only works when he intends for it to. Otherwise he can say it without effect. This was necessary when they changed the character's name from Captain Marvel. See more »
Excellent, light and visually gorgeous movie.. Eager for the next installment
This movie was written in mind with the evolving audience. The plot was solid considering the immense task they had of depicting the origin unification story of JL plus the origin of Cyborg. It is very light and fairly comic at times. Sure some stuff was left unexplained but it hardly mattered so much anyways as to curb on that precious time constraint. Darkseid was a bully yes but he did have a course in mind. Total colonization of Earth! Wonder Woman was simply adorable. Shazam was boisterous indeed for an adolescent. ( Shouldn't he technically be a part of Teen Titans?) Flash was given justice for his part. Superman was..well...Superman! Batman was not exaggerated at all you never know what kind of modifications he has made to his suit. Green Lantern was motivating enough to get the job done by all the rest of the hot headed heroes and finally Cyborg is promising. And I am eager to meet with him again. Overall great characterization. A very justified plot. Scope for a sequel and amazing design and visuals. Tired of typing..I'll just watch the movie again!
