Quotes

Lucas Hood: I don't think he did lose it. I think he made a conscious choice. They hurt his family, he needed to make 'em pay.
Deputy Siobhan Kelly: We would have made them pay.
Lucas Hood: Yeah, but he needed it to come from him. Think of it like you and Breece. Look, there is a point at which any one of us will do exactly what Emmett did. It's just a question of what puts us in that situation where the circumstances outweigh the consequences. We go to the station every day and we're supposed to be dealing in justice, but all we're really...

Just how good are the action sequences?
4 March 2015 | by (North America) – See all my reviews

I ask this question because well someone has to.

I have reviewed several individual episodes and noted that midway through S02 things were slowing down. Safe to say, this episode makes up for that.

In an earlier review I noted that, aside from the "Jason Statham" and other MMA types that wander through Banshee, part of the genius of this series is that, at any point in time, Hood has at least two major enemies to work against, Proctor and Rabbit.

This episode, as the other reviewers explain, belongs to the Rabbit arc even though R-Man gets little screen time.

But the real question is, for a TV series, how good are the fight scenes? We know they are fast, we know they explode out of nowhere, but are they really quality? Answer: Duh. Yeah. As good as big screen or better.

There is a shot here where Hood is fighting one of Rabbit's men in a hospital and the baddie misses with a karate style sidekick which almost breaks the door in half.

Little things like that keep the viewer interested.

This is a very cool show.
