Worse than I expected
Wordwhisperer9 April 2024
I would have liked it to be at least funny. It's just an attempt of doing stand-up. It's a show where Catalin Bordea shouts every word, curses every 2 or 3 words, laughs very often at... his jokes. (Russell Peters also does it, for example, but rarely and at least he's funny). The venue is very cold and very dark, the spotlight is only upon him, the audience is filmed very closely and only a few rows in front, it seems like the audience was paid to be there. Sometimes they applaud forcefully, often when... Bordea laughs. I've seen several of his shows, now the jokes are just stale, lacking spice, there's zero attempt to put certain scenes in the correct historical context. They're not even successful as satire. It's a shame, a few years ago he was really good!

Warning: Spoilers
Expected smth better from him. Knew that she was successful but now i ask why was that... The show os not worthwhile. So much yelling, screaming, cursing to often and feels like the jokes were only about stupidity and how stupid people act, imitating their behaviour.. netflix should bring here those oldschool entertainers who actually put thought and effort into making a standup show.. with variety and content, taking everything in regards for a different segment of viewers. Disappointed and for sure not going to waste time watching his shows. In the expectation that the line of jokes will change.
