Storyline

Clumsy attorney Adam Hornstock hires Psych as 'legal consultants' to defend the prime suspect in the TV station murder of weatherman Jackson Hale. Grumpy judge Horace Leland gives the trio surprising room to sleuth for alternative suspects, even after the first one, Hale's successor, is poisoned, requiring a whole other motive . Trivia

Shawn says that a situation in which he is a lawyer, but doesn't have a law degree, would be "one heck of a show." This is a blatant reference to the show "Suits," which airs on the same network. See more »

Goofs

Shawn was born in 1977. The type of car seat he was in was not available until the 1990s. See more »

Just a disappointment
31 January 2014 | by (United States) – See all my reviews

The witty, sometimes a little smug Shawn Spencer is portrayed as an asinine fool. I mean, the part where he was "hitting" on Juliet made me cringe so bad that I had to close the show. He has NEVER been so desperate, and Juliet wasn't that harsh. Some of the beautiful conversation that happened in the original is removed, for god knows what reason, making it seem a lot less fluid.

In the past few episodes they stress some jokes too much and they become so unfunny. E.G. here they CONTINUOUSLY stressed that it was 2006.

I hope the Psych creators get their game up because I used to watch psych until 4am, now I couldn't even watch it all the way through...

Huge disappointment...
