- Briggs gets Jakes to help him leave the country by ship, but hides around. Without an incriminating recording, the FBI doesn't have a solid case against Briggs, but starts questioning all Graceland agents, who side with him. Briggs calls a marker to be told where Mexican Federales are in the States, goes trough them and thus finds Rafeael Cortes, but as he's flirting with Charlie, her arrival and clueless intervention prevents Paul form arresting the cartel killer, whom he knows to be Jangles, who overpowers them. Mike however worked out Briggs's non-exile and arrives just in time, later hears his full story. This earns him a promotion as director's special assistant in DC while Paul is cleared from all charges, but the recording meanwhile pops up in a second hand shop.—KGF Vissers

We pick up where we left off with Briggs bugging out of Graceland with a bag full of cash, passports and ID. He gets a call from Mike as he's leaving but he ignores him.
Mike sends out an APB on Briggs and Johnny gets it as he's going into Graceland. Briggs bluffs that it's part of his cover with the Caza cartel and Johnny lets him leave.
Briggs has Jakes drop him off at the marina saying he's hopping a boat to his new life and they say their goodbyes.
But you know our boy Briggs is more crafty than that.
He meets up with the drug dealer Quinn who worked for Odin but didn't know him. Since Charlie put the fear of Jangles into him, Quinn wants to skip town. Briggs gives him the new IDs and passports with the name Tony Brusca. Quinn hands him cash and hops a boat to Ecuador.
Jakes calls Briggs and tells him that Charlie has been working with a Federale. He puts it together with what he saw on the surveillance video at the Diane hotel. Briggs drives to where he buried Juan Badillo and grabs the key labeled Apt. 3 off the body. He then goes looking for Jangles. Jakes also tells Briggs there's no recording.
Everyone in the house is interrogated and the house is swept and the roommates begin fighting with many considering Mike a rat and there is fear that Graceland will be shut down. Johnny asks Jakes why Briggs didn't come to him for help and Jakes says he needs to grow up. Mike wants to find Briggs and keep Graceland open.
Mike works on figuring out what Briggs is doing. He works out that he's still in L.A. and gets excited. In his excitement he kisses Paige. She stops him and says she would be willing but not like this because it's not about her.
Briggs shows up at Jakes' son's soccer game. Briggs tells him about Charlie and Jangles but Jakes doesn't want to hear it since what he's done has sent the house into a frenzy of trouble.
Charlie meets with Jangles and has a drink. They toast to mending a broken heart. She begs off going home with him. But then has a change of heart and heads to the house where he is staying on the beach.
Briggs has arrived first, however. He enters and manages to put the Badillo key on Jangles' keychain but he hears him and comes down and confronts him. They fight. Charlie enters confused and Jangles knocks Briggs out and tells Charlie to cuff him. But, of course, he then turns on her and assaults her and holds both her and Briggs hostage.
He forces Briggs to watch as he hurts Charlie, cutting her with a knife. Thanks to GPS tracking, Mike arrives to save the day. He enters the house and Jangles confronts him and Mike shoots him. He rescues Briggs ad Charlie and Charlie kicks Jangles' body on the way out.
Briggs asks Mike how he figured it out. Mike explains and then Birggs also explains more fully. It turns out that while he was shooting up Briggs all he wanted to know was who the mole in the Caza cartel was. After getting him hooked, they left him to detox and he became so crazed that he gave up a fellow agent as the mole. That agent also lived in the Estate and Jangles went and burned the house down, killing Lisa, Briggs' girlfriend, as well.
Mike learns he's getting shipped to D.C. to become the special assistant to the deputy director.
The Feds find the evidence that Jangles killed Badillo-- the key that Briggs put on him. They also believe that Quinn, now on the run in Ecuador, is the infamous Odin Rossi. Briggs got off and is free as a bird. Charlie apologizes to Briggs and says she is wracked with guilt, saying she's going to turn in her badge. Briggs says the house needs her. They hug.
Briggs tells Jakes they're even. They both wonder where the recording is. Neither knows. Jakes tells Briggs he now needs to fix Graceland. (Especially since he knows that Briggs killed Juan.)
The housemates have a bonfire. Briggs makes a speech about heroin addiction and says he forgot about home and apologizes. They toast Mike's return back to East Coast. Briggs and Mike smile at each other.
Back in D.C. going over stuff in a high level meeting, Mike reminisces about Graceland.
We cut to a pawn shop. Two teen boys approach a tape recorder. They press play and we hear Briggs' murder of Juan Badillo. They take the tape.
Briggs calls Mike just to check in. The season ends with Briggs saying to Mike, "Listen I haven't told anyone else about this..."
