- Old Brown: [chasing the rabbits] Run away if you must! A good chase will help me work up an appetite!
- Tommy Brock: I'll do you in!
- Old Brown: With what? Your abominable aroma? That's the only thing I'm scared of.
- Benjamin Bouncer: I love going fast! And we'll go twice as fast tomorrow. But... maybe we'll miss the owl part next time. And the badger part. And the hurting leg part. And the rocks. And the cart. And... why don't we just go fishing tomorrow instead?
- Sammy Whiskers: [entering the hen-house] Excuse me, dear Mrs. Puddleduck, but you seem to have left your bonnet outside.
- Jemima Puddleduck: [wearing the bonnet] Oh... oh, my... have I? I'd forget my own head if I wasn't always wearing it.
- [exits the hen-house]
- Jemima Puddleduck: [taking a look around] Are you sure? I can't see it, Mr.Whiskers.
- Sammy Whiskers: The bonnet was on your head all along. See? Now it's outside.
- [shuts the door]
- Benjamin Bouncer: [asking Jemima about Sammy Whiskers] Did he take your oatcakes too?
- Lily Bobtail: Benjamin...
- Jemima Puddleduck: [desperate] Yes. Yes, he did... every last one of them!
- [bursts into tears]
- Benjamin Bouncer: I never should've told him your oatcakes are the best...
- Jemima Puddleduck: [happy] The best? Do you really think so?
- [Benjamin has successfully entered the hen-house and locked Sammy Whiskers outside]
- Benjamin Bouncer: [dancing] Peter! Lily! I did it! I'm in! He's out! Yay! I did it! I did it!
- [someone knocks at the door. Benjamin opens it]
- Sammy Whiskers: [on the door] Excuse me, little rabbit. But you seem to have left your knitting out here.
- Benjamin Bouncer: Whoops! Thank you!
- [exits]
- Sammy Whiskers: No, thank you.
- [gets inside and shuts the door]
- Benjamin Bouncer: [taking the knitting] Oh, wait! This isn't mine! I don't even know how to knit.
- [notices the shut door]
- Benjamin Bouncer: Whoops again.
- Jemima Puddleduck: I wonder what happened to that awful rat.
- [Peter looks outside the window. Sammy Whiskers is on top of a tree, trembling. Mr.McGregor's cat is at the feet of the tree]
- Peter Rabbit: I wouldn't worry about him, Mrs.Puddleduck. I think he's found somewhere new to hang out.
