Trivia

This episode contains many meta references to the Primetime Emmy Awards. The bar that everyone is going to and wins all the awards is a parody on multi-camera sitcoms that take the comedy categories of the Emmys by storm usually every year. Frank also makes reference to dramas that get all the awards when he is telling Dennis and Dee about a new bar he went to by saying "there aren't a lot of people there, but there's a lot of period costumes." Goofs

The dark haired girl in the gray/black outfit standing on the sidewalk talking can be seen walking past them twice in the same direction, after the gang leaves the Bar Association guy's office. She passes behind Charlie & Frank. See more »

Quotes

Mac: This office sucks.
Dee Reynolds: It smells bad and it's stuffy in here.
Dennis Reynolds: Yeah, it's the Restaurant and Bar Association; it's a stuffy organization. They're not in touch with the young people like us.
Dee Reynolds: Some old boner gives me attitude, I'm gonna spit in his face.
Dennis Reynolds: If he starts giving me shit, I'll spit at him.
Mac: We should all spit.
Frank Reynolds: Look, we're not spitting, all right?

This show is absolutely hilarious, and this Episode shows in a pretty accurate and clever way why, being the best in comedy business at the moment, they have never ever been nominated for an award. But that is not on the gang, they are great, so probably the Industry should go screw themselves.
