Frankenstein consults a hematologist, Professor Abraham Van Helsing, who finds the blood contains an unique property that prevents complete coagulation. He believes it assists in the eating of blood. Frankenstein begins experimenting on Fenton, the vampire they caught and are keeping in chains. Frankenstein is also having to deal with his creature who wants him to create a female companion for him. Chandler takes Brona to the Grand Guignol theater. Sir Malcolm mentions that discovering the source of the Nile is a 'holy grail' for explorers. However, the series is set after Jack the Ripper was active (the late 1880s) and the source of the Nile was located by John Hanning Speke in August 1858. An educated man like Sir Malcolm would surely have known this. See more
