Weakest Episode By Far (for me).
18 June 2014 | by (United Kingdom) – See all my reviews

I must say I've enjoyed the series up to this point but nearly stopped watching after this episode. I'm very glad I persevered though, as the next episode is superb- Eva Green at her best. I find the Dorian Gray sections tedious and Billie Piper's character? Well- IMDb has a warning for 'padding with junk' & that's how I see those avenues of the story. Timothy Dalton, Josh Hartnett & especially Eva Green's characters, however, always hold my interest with all their performances excellent thus far. I'm interested to see how the story dove-tails with the classics it borrows so deeply from & as I've already suggested- Episode 5 rewards our perseverance richly. My 2c.
