The main plot is the same as Big Daddy, or even Eugenio Derbez's "No se aceptan devoluciones", in which an unready parent is burdened with the news of a child of his he did not know existed. And the whole story is about how they meet, bond and start accepting each other. (Spoiler alert) The main plot twist is near the end when David learns the child is not his, but his grandfather decides to lure him into taking her as his own because the real father is a good-for-nothing scumbag and he(the grandfather) is about to die and has no one else to leave the child with. The movie lacks the spark between the two main characters (David and Samantha), and Samantha does not behave as a child. It has errors in lighting, continuity, but worst of all the acting. Plutarco does a good effort in acting, but the rest of the cast is amateurish (at best). Probably one of the worst films made in Mexico in the last 10 years.
