- Tywin and Cersei arrest Tyrion and frantically search for Sansa, but Dontos has smuggled her away in time (he takes her in a small boat and meets a ship waiting just off the harbor) before Tywin could seal the capital. Petyr Littlefinger (Aidan Gillen), who hired Ser Dontos, smuggles Sansa out of King's Landing. He says even the necklace Dontos gave Sansa, was made by Petyr a few weeks ago. Petyr kills Dontos before leaving. Petyr tells Sansa that she will be the prime suspect in Joffrey's killing as he killed Ned Stark and that is ample motivation for her to kill Joffrey.
Tywin grooms Tommen (Dean-Charles Chapman) to be the new king (A new King should be holy, just, strong and wise. A wise King listens to his counselors till he comes of age and long afterwards). Cersei wants Jaime to avenge their son. When Cersei resists Jaime, he rapes her in front of Joffrey's dead body. Tywin enlists Oberyn and Mace Tyrell (Roger Ashton-Griffiths) (Olenna's husband) as his fellow judges for Tyrion's impending murder trial. Greyjoys are in rebellion, Wildlings march from the North and Daenerys has 3 dragons to the East. He needs the Dornish as only the Dorne fought the dragons the last time.

Tyrion chooses Jaime as his witness. All the rest have already been requisitioned by the queen Cersei as her witnesses. Podrick (Daniel Portman) (Tyrion's squire) tells him that he is being pressured to testify against Tyrion. Podrick tells Tyrion that Sansa has been missing since the wedding. Tyrion tells Podrick to leave King's Landing asap, since he refused to testify against Tyrion. Tyrion feels that Cersei loved Joffery and couldn't have murdered him, but suspects Tywin.

In the North, Sam (John Bradley) fears for Gilly's (Hannah Murray) safety (as most of the Night watch recruits are rapers and thieves and Sam doesn't think Gilly would be safe with them) and moves her and Little Sam to nearby Mole's Town. Jon had told Mance that he had 1000 men at Castle black, while the mutineers know that its a fraction of that number (They have just over 100 men, including the stewards and builders). Jon wants the Lord Commander Alliser to strengthen Castle Black for the eventual attack of the wild-ling army on the wall.
