Trivia

The antibiotic Bob was giving to the members of the group that were sick is Enrofloxacin, which is a broad spectrum antibiotic used in veterinary medicine. It is very similar to the broad spectrum antibiotic Ciprofloxcin (commonly known as Cipro) which is used for humans. See more »

Goofs

It took months of walkers leaning on and pushing against the outer fence for it to collapse and give in, yet when the walkers get through the outer fence they are somehow able to push down the inner fence in a matter of a few minutes. And the spot they push down is where the fence attaches to the guard tower, which would be the strongest part of the fence, unlike the middle which is where the outer fence gave way. See more »

Quotes

[Daryl says to Hershel that Glenn and him are tough sons of bitches]
Tyreese Williams: How's Glenn doing?
Hershel Greene: He made it through the night. He's breathing on his own now. Maggie and Bob are with him. He seems stable enough for me to get some air.
Daryl Dixon: He's a tough son of a bitch.
Hershel Greene: He is.
Daryl Dixon: You're a tough son of a bitch.
Hershel Greene: [Hershel walks on] I am.

Action-Packed Episode!
28 January 2015 | by (United States) – See all my reviews

This is the fifth episode of the fourth season of the Walking Dead. It is the most action-packed episode of the season so far and we really get to see things at the prison become worse, especially that lethal virus. As the situation is quickly getting out of hand at the prison, we get the return of another potent threat to the prison: The Governor himself.

In this episode, "Internment," The virus is quickly killing those who have it and turning them into walkers. Herschel is struggling mightily and it's up to Maggie to save him and the remaining survivors. Meanwhile, Rick and Carl try to take out the walkers as they overrun the prison fence.

Overall, this is the best episode of the season. It is heavy on the action, but it does not sacrifice any of characterization. Scott Wilson shines as Herschel, as we see him at his worst. With the Governor back in the picture, it will be interesting to see what happens next. I rate this episode 10/10.
