Multiple Do not enter signs, red with a horizontal white stripe, can be seen throughout the movie. In fact, before the Germans invaded France in June 1940, these signs were red with the written mention Do not enter. The Germans simplified the sign with a white stripe over the letters. The sign, as we know it today, was then made official in France in 1946.
In the same matter, we can see multiple concrete or metal devices to prevent cars from parking on sidewalks. These were introduced in the eighties. See more
