Ecopolis is a movie about future green cities in China. Finnish engineer Eero Paloheimo is the main character. Subject feels important and very present in 2010's. Sometimes this film feels a bit information-heavy. I found most interesting the insights on the Chinese corporation leader meetings. It's shot pretty well and in serene way. Not much humor involved. E.P.:"We are in great hurry to save the planet." Nice. Film poses the question: Why people, especially Europeans, have so difficult attitude towards ecocity-projects? Eero Paloheimo is sort of visionary for the future of lifestyles and planet's well being. And he comes across pretty likable in his character.
