Building Outside the Lines and into your heart!

I found this home improvement show by accident on the MAX app and decided to let it play while I was falling asleep. Well, that was a mistake. Jared "Cappie" Capp and his 14 year old stepdaughter, nay, daughter, Alex (AKA Sprout) are quite the unstoppable pair.

Chip and Joanna don't have anything on these two. You can see that Sprout loves being there to help and learn from Cappie, and that Cappie takes an immense amount of pride in the little girl he's helped raised.

And the projects they do are incredible! In episode 3, they use the mixing drum from a concrete truck to make a bee themed playhouse for 4 children. It is incredible!!

Overall this show is amazing. The builds are great and seeing a father/ teenage daughter duo is inspirational. I hope the powers that be keep this show going!

Absolutely love this show! Great people, unique builds and love the relationship between Cappie and his daughter. Just how Cappie treats everyone is genuine and kind. Love their imagination and everything they come up with. Small town, yet big ideas. Beautiful country in South Dakota to see and a family friendly show that definitely keeps you watching. We need more like this. Seeing a father teach hi is young daughter all he knows and let's her help is wonderful.

I watched every episode available today- all 6 and a new one is on tonight. Make sure to check it out! I hope there are many more seasons to come! Great show!

Fabulous show!

This is one of those rare shows that everyone will love. It shows creativity, levity, resourcefulness, recycling, ingenuity and a wonderful relationship between a dad and daughter. It reveals a great dynamic between them with a touch of sass and humor. Love the Spearfish, SD, landscape and the down-home feel of the community. Sincerely hope this program is renewed.

The crew is hardworking, and very respected by Cappie, as are the local merchants and tradespeople in the community.

It is a perfect addition to the Magnolia Channel lineup and it represents the kind of family life everyone should strive for.

Awesome Show! I rarely watch TV

I never watch TV, to me it's all junk. That said Building outside the lines is fresh and fun to watch great show for family and friednds. I love the relationship Capie has with his daughter and his crew. I also love his attention to safety on the job. Great fun for all to watch. Hope to see more episdoes soon. My favortie so far was the shipping container swimming pool! So fun. Ice cream is the best food! Sprout is adorable and smart she is going places for sure. Keep up the good work and stay true. God bless America. I am being forced to write more as this program makes me write 600 words! 3 2 1.

Not quite what she needed/asked for...

I really enjoy the show. Seriously! But I was disappointed with the greenhouse build. The owner specifially explained that she needed to be able to move the greenhouse OVER mature plants on those nights when the temperature dips unexpectantly. While the greenhouse is easily moveable, I see no way it can be rolled over mature tomato (per her example) plants without somehow removing the lower end panels... which have a permanent frame and rigid walls I didn't want to post this to a forum, but couldn't find any other way to let Cappie know he probably needs to do a bit of modification.
