This is the fourth story of "The Man Who Disappeared." While the offering is interesting, well directed, and splendidly acted it is one of those serials which end at the most interesting period. To the spectator who has not seen the preceding numbers this serial thing is perplexing and not very satisfactory. However, this number is gripping. - The Moving Picture World, June 6, 1914
