Trivia

When Castle is telling Ryan and Esposito about being abducted, Esposito dismisses "Valkyrie" as a military term. Although there's no military use in the United States, arguably the most famous military use of the word was in Germany during World War II; Operation Valkyrie was an emergency plan for a continuity of government that several high-ranking members of the Nazi Party used in the July 20 attempt to assassinate Adolf Hitler and negotiate a truce with the Allies. Quotes

[first lines]
Kate Beckett: Oh, my god! Oh, my god, you're proposing.
Richard Castle: Okay, you're surprised.
Kate Beckett: Of course I'm surprised! I thought you were breaking up with me.
Richard Castle: By offering you a ring?
Kate Beckett: Well, you just... you seemed so serious.
Richard Castle: Yeah, of course I'm serious. This is the most serious thing I've ever done.

One of the bests of Castle for me
26 September 2013 | by (Liège, Belgium) – See all my reviews

I was afraid to see an "escape" at the wedding question, but the first 5 minutes couldn't be more perfect. I especially noticed (or is it me dreaming ?) the even better relationship between Kate & Castle. She seemed to me much more enthousiast, much more involved in the relation, and it's for me the really first time I think : "If they stay on this kind of relation, they could perfectly be the modern "Jonhatan & Jennifer" ". I never had this feeling before. About this episode, there's no minute where you think it's a boring one, or even a 7/10 one. From begin to end I enjoyed this episode, much more than 90% of the others - that I liked too of course - but the game of Beckett is at a higher level and I loved it. If the quality stays so high this season, this season will be the best.
