It was good..... for a high school project.
Far from the worst movie ever.
It looks like someone's first attempt at making a movie & had their friends Act & used their surroundings as the set.
With better equipment, acting & money backing em, someday they could make something good.
Again I don't think it does not have potential to have been more, but it didn't make it there.
Yet.
It was a bit painful on the monotone dialog that felt like one endless run-on sentence, but I think it was a lot of their first time doing this.
Lighting & effects where oddly dull.
Like literally the coloring was diluted & the effects where incomplete.
Editing skills felt beginner.
Camera work needs a lot of build.
No angles or different view points, just seems like it was a camera on a tripod in different locations.
Almost as if they had only one camera to work with.
Scenes that had more than one position seemed to be shot in full at one point then reshot at a new camera position.
At one point there was a double camera position that a jacket was worn in one position but that same person didn't have it on during the second position take.
So every other line felt like a different scene & their dialog is off because of the shot difference.
Idk I'm probably being to harsh but it was not ready for the big screen & that's just honesty.
Also, since I'm being honest......
It feels like if everyone involved gets a bunch more experience in what their doing, they could make something great. Today is not that great day. I hope they keep working and get that experience.
I have a feeling the good reviews where friends of someone involved with the movie or they where paid to give it a good review because honestly how anyone watches this and give it 10 stars is beyond me. Maybe brain damage or it being their first movie ever. Only then would 10 stars could make sense. Only.
