Flynn and Provenza were tasked with bringing a witness in a murder trial Rios is prosecuting, to his motel. They were going to pick him up the next day for the trial. But when they arrive, they find the motel surrounded by police who are there to arrest a robbery murder suspect, the witness. When questioned he said he went out and got drunk and doesn't remember anything. Rios is upset because this is an important case which she had been working on for over a year. And the witness is discredited if he did do the crime. So they try to find out what happened. In the meantime Rusty brings one of his classmates, a girl to the station to study and they wonder what his intentions are. Written by
