Storyline

Flynn and Provenza are tasked to take a witness in a murder trial prosecuted by Rios to a motel. They're to pick him up the next day for the trial, but when they arrive, they find the motel surrounded by police arresting him as a robbery-murder suspect. When questioned, he says he went out, got drunk, and doesn't remember anything. Rios is upset because this is an important case which she had been working on for over a year. The witness will be discredited if he did this crime, so everyone tries to find out what happened. In the meantime, Rusty brings one of his classmates, a girl, to the station to study, and the squad wonders what his intentions are. Written by rcs0411@yahoo.com/edited by statmanjeff

Quotes

Shampagne: Oh, no. Is he okay?
Lt. Andy Flynn: Oh, he's about thirty seconds from being charged with murder, but other than that, yeah, he's great.
Shampagne: Will you give him my best? Oh, and tell him that I've got the "free moustache rides" sweatshirt that he left in my car.
Lt. Louie Provenza: You know what? I've got a better idea. Why don't you come with us and you can tell him yourself?
