This show took a nosedive and failed to make a splash
6 February 2015 | by (Australia) – See all my reviews

Celebrity Splash Australia seemed to be a show that was plucked out of hat and somebody came up with the grand idea of making this into a TV series based on an overseas show which was widely derided by many critics for its lack or originality and excitement. Other countries have adopted the series but have also met with failure. Australia was no different, with this version equally terrible.

The show's premises was simple, a star studded cast of celebrities mastering the art of diving and putting their reputations on the line. Already this was a crap concept. I swore that I was not going to view this show until I saw parts of one episode which confirmed that this show was a bad idea.

The result was not so promising for Celebrity Splash Australia despite the attraction of many celebrities, with the show bombing and poor ratings condemning this show as one of the biggest flops of 2013 for Channel 7.

Thankfully after 5 episodes, Celebrity Splash Australia received the axe.

Celebrity Splash Australia should make a splash into history as one of the worst TV shows in history to be notoriously short lived.

1/10.
