Storyline

As the cornerstone of RLTV's Prime Votes initiative-a gamut of urgent and unprecedented programming aimed at informing and mobilizing voters 55+ in the recent mid-term election-National Forum was presented in two 60-minute specials and hosted by Cokie Roberts, the senior news analyst for NPR and chief congressional analyst for ABC News. The programs provided an arena for voters 55+ to directly air their concerns as pollsters Frank Luntz and Mark Mellman led "Man on the Street" packages giving seniors a chance to have their voices heard. Ms. Roberts moderated discussions in the studio which centered on roundtable conversation and debate and featured an impressive panel of leading opinion-makers and political insiders from both parties who sat down with senior voters in order to delve deeply and candidly into the troubling issues imperative to seniors in the upcoming election.
