Captain Flint finds smoking out the well-trenched British crew of the Andromache terribly hard, being barely able to force his pirates to seemingly insane risks. Time presses with another Brituish warship on the way to rescue their men, it all comes to depend on a coordinated revolt of the just discovered live cargo: slaves, including "Mr. Scott". Billy's warning to gates about Flint's common cause with Barlow is discarded by Gates, but Flint finds out and leaves Billy behind at sea, presumably drowning; half of the precious canons are lost. On the island, Eleanor makes her position even more hopeless by refusing to sacrifice her harlot protégé for a deal with the other captains. Silver tries to sell the treasure location again, but his client rather goes after the 'lost' pearls from the deal with Flint and turns on presumed thief Rackham.
The costs of chasing the Andromache continue to mount. Eleanor needs Silver's help. Billy wants Gates to confront Flint. Bonny takes a stand.
