Wrestling how it should be
psquaredlife30 June 2023
Growing up pro wrestling had. A lot larger than life characters and magnificent wonders in the ring. Over time reality of the industry changed that. Finally wrestling returns to its truest form with maximum entertainment value. With an all star cast and I mean the best from coast to coast in one wild wrestling movie.

Don't like wrestling well this is beyond your Monday night tv boredom this is something that you can't even imagine and will blow your mind. That's if you haven't taken too many chair shots then who cares about your mind!!!

Go watch kill city cup. You won't be disappointed and prob will watch it multiple times becoming obsessed and maybe even joining a kill city cult!!!

Unique Wrestling movie that feels like a 90s fighting game
I thoroughly enjoyed watching this!

This is a nice departure from traditional pro wrestling and ticks off alot of boxes if you were a fan of fighting games in the 80s and 90s.

The outlandish characters very much remind you of an eclectic cast of rogues from games like world heros 2, or a killer instinct.

I greatly enjoy the entrances and just the over the top bombastic nature of this whole thing.

There is some serious potential here with this concept in future follow-ups. One thing I would love to see in a follow up is a slightly tighter narrative as well as different locales, like the stages from video games of years past.

That was one thing I loved about those games, is that each fighter had a unique stage. If a sequel had that it would get 10* from me!

Great New Spin on Wrestling
markaorent20 June 2023
Wrestling comes back to life in Kill City. It successfully combines the characters of wrestling into the dim lights and special effects of an underground tournament. The clever character matchups are designed to make you keep guessing at the outcomes. The grueling finishes surpass typical wrestling, managing to be gruesome but with just the right bit of humor. Luke Robert, the producer, shows that his experience in both wrestling and video production really pay off. He's someone the current wrestling establishment should be carefully watching. Segment one will have you waiting and watching for what's next.

Wrestling as Unreal
DenisMichaelReidy1 July 2023
For years, pro wrestling maintained the facade of being a totally real experience. Instead of trying to shore up that old canard that wrestling is real, Kill City Cup instead takes the completely opposite tack by unleashing a wildly different kind of pro wrestling show. Gone is any pretense of a respectable reality, replaced instead by the unabashed raw aggression only hinted at in other run-of-the-mill pro wrestling promotions. All the standard tricks and tropes of pro wrestling are there but, in Kill City, they are taken to such logical yet unreal extremes that you can't believe what you're seeing and you don't care. And that's what makes it so totally entertaining.
