I have to start by putting it out there-the flashbacks in this episode were sooooo good!!! And little Percy is just so adorable and accurate! They've tied these flashbacks so well into the main story flow, and it adds a little colour and depth to Percy's background and his hard life-which doesn't happen in the books but I find as excellent additions.
I really loved the scene where Grover's getting pulled into Tartarus-it felt really lifelike and well thought out. Percy finding the bolt in his bag was an unexpected plot twist, but it also tied in with the story really well, and made sense in the scene where he's negotiating with Hades.
And last but DEFINETELY not least the Poseidon, Sally conversation at the end of the episode<3 oh my gosh it was so insane. It added the kind of heartbreak that Sally went through while Percy was growing up, which really showed how strong and how much of a total queen she is. And we get a glimpse into the fact that Poseidons always watched over Percy and has always wanted to be there for him. And the episode ending with "When he's ready?" Chillllllsss
This episode was stunning;)))))))))))) Can't wait for the last one, even though I'm gonna be devestated once it's done.
