- Cornelius Rockewell, the next target of the Wallingford company, is in Zwick's Sanitarium with a nagging ailment. Hearing that Rockewell will give a great amount of money for the cure of his ailment, Wallingford sets up his own sanitarium. Onion Jones meets Rockewell on the train and tells him about the miracle cure that he is investing in. Rockewell takes the bait and follows Jones to Wallingford's bogus hospital. So impressed is Rockewell that he outbids Jones and invests $150,000 with Wallingford. Yet another name is crossed off the Warden girls' list.—anonymous
- J. Rufus Wallingford is in Zwick's Sanitarium with rheumatism. Cornelius Rockewell is there, too. But the treatment is too much for Wallingford and he makes his escape, bringing another patient with him. It is whispered about that old man Rockewell will give a vast sum of money to be cured of his ailment, so Wallingford and Blackie get together and open an anti-old age cure. Quite by accident, to be sure, Onion Jones, a member of the firm of Wallingford and Co., meets Mr. Rockewell on a train and says he is on his way to the cure, incidentally advising the millionaire to "go thou and do likewise." He does, but only for investigation, and very much sub-rosa. However, everything is set for him and he falls, outbidding Onion's offer of $100,000 for Wallingford's interest with one of $150,000. The name of Rockewell is then crossed off the list of the men who were mixed up in the ruin of the father of the Warden girls, and the "con" men prepare to "land" another prospect.—Moving Picture World synopsis
