Given 10 stars for the Actors not the Writers
roshnistar-1858325 October 2023
Barsatein show review: Loveee the chemistry of Kushal and Shivangi they are great actors and look very nice opposite each other. However the writers have turned this into a typical Hindi drama. The show can use more happy moments. Recently they finally made up, Aaradhana (the female lead) and Reyansh's (the male lead) share a happy moment. The very next episode they ruined it with a twist full of misunderstandings and miscommunication. This is ridiculous. The writers could have at least given 1-2 weeks of them dating, flirting, or having happy and friendly moments together. Then after 1-2 weeks of happy moments they could have thrown the twist in. But no, all over again they have all these crying scenes and drama. All the same annoying things repeat. They both break each others hearts and same toxic drama again. I love watching the show when they are sharing happy moments. I understand there has to be some drama but at least have a few straight days of happiness before throwing in a depressing twist.

Barsatein-amazing actors and chemistry
rg-728443 January 2024
Love this show. Watching this show since the beginning the actors share hot chemistry. Aradhana Sahni the most misunderstood character but I guess that's how mentality is fl's are always misunderstood. All they need is to give her break from reyansh and show the marriage truth.

Love shivangi joshi Performance finest actress. AraNsh have hot chemistry and no doubt they became popular in a blink of an eye. Makers can utilize properly this show is insanely popular. Performances are way better then other sony shows and it's plots, chemistry. All they need is fix the tracks. Love this show barsatein.

What a waste of Potential!!
sweety_niki13 January 2024
I hardly watch Indian shows as it's same old crying and drama. This show had such a great fresh start and finally free of "Indian drama".. but damn it became worst than the typical drama.

The female character is actually an embarrassment for today's women-kind and male character keeps loosing his self-respect every day. Running behind a worthless female.

No "best friend" or even a friend acts the way they have shown the third wheel character who has no place in the show actually! Such a disappointment!!

I am writing this review because I honestly feel bad for the lead actors as they have such amazing chemistry, they look such a genuine couple, so much in love not only on reel but in real too but sadly are stuck in a horrible show. The actress specially is loosing her likability playing such a pathetic character. So badly made! Such senseless storyline and tracks. Such a waste of chemistry, talent and time.

Kushal Tandon as Reyansh Lamba
rushalikhanal29 October 2023
Reyansh's journey is a story of how love and personal growth can change a person for the better. Witnessing the childhood trauma he endured, the cruel absence of a loving family, and his mother's heartbreaking neglect was truly heart-wrenching. Reyansh character transformed from a red flag to a soft-hearted individual. Reyansh's character arc is nothing short of heartwarming. Kushal portrayal of Reyansh journey from being guarded to opening up and embracing love touched our souls. The transformation was a testament to kushal versatility as an actor, and it left us all rooting for Reyansh's happiness and redemption. Kushal's performance as Reyansh was outstanding. He made Reyansh's character feel real and relatable, from the beginning to his transformation. Kushal's acting conveyed Reyansh's emotions and growth brilliantly, connecting with us on a deep level. His portrayal deserves a lot of praise and recognition for its authenticity and emotional impact. The upcoming chapters promise to be intense and emotionally charged. 💔😭 I can't wait to seee more of shades of Reyansh and kushal versatility.

Don't waste your time watching this show, you will regret it!!
akankgupta-2578615 December 2023
Warning: Spoilers
Initially the show, star cast and story where very gripping but over 3 months it has deteriorated to a level of toxicity that you will regret ever spending a moment on this series. Was an obessed fan of this when it started but story got irritating after the initial story line got over. The Aransh pair chemistry was on fire but after 3 months you will get to know that this the toxic heroine went ahead and married side hero because of a self obessed need for easy life and mislead sense of family loyaylity for a family which was never there for her. Heroine is typecaseted as self sacrificing but looks selfish to the core and has an irritating habbit of blaming hero for all mishappens. Heroine says she loves the hero while marrying a third class guy who this ppl has tried to potray as green flag who is an opportunist in disguise and hero's bf.

Please donot watch this series!!! A very badly written story with a selfish, characterless heroine who is in love with one marries another guy.

Interesting take on love, Toxic relationships, heartbreaks
eevajay23 January 2024
Reyansh Lamba owns Top media channel, is a non confirmist, non feminist, honest journo.

Aradhana Sahni (Shivangi Joshi), a strong headed girl, fact seeking, ambitious Journo joins his team.

Initially She finds him impossible to work with but sooner understands reasons for his attitude. They come together to help Besties get married. Reyansh falls for Aru ( Aradhana) after She intervenes and solves his personal problem with his mother. He proposes her and they spend a happy night together. Problems crop up once her Ex shows up on the scene

Lead roles played by Kushal Tandon (Reyansh) and Shivangi Joshi ( Aradhana) are giving best performances👌and their sizzling chemistry is addictive.

The duo won the Pinkvilla polls for Best Couple.

Toxic and boring
kyliel-5927925 October 2023
Warning: Spoilers
Tbh when this serial came I was excited to watch all Ep but This serial going same track and it's so toxic also too much overacting. Beginning show was going great after going downhill. I don't feel like watching show again it's not healthy. All this show is about fighting over guy and girl then take whole year to find her mom. Whole day crying over the guy and staying away love matter. I hope they change otherwise it will get more boring. I like both characters but script is just boring not fun to watch. I hope makers change and bring both lovers back. I really like shivangi she is playing well.

Mausam Pyaar and Misunderstandings ka
tejasswifan22 October 2023
Barsatein is a very catchy show and the highlight of the show are the leads , Kushal Tandon and Shivangi Joshi, who make for a very attractive and different onscreen pair. The show started on a brilliant note highlighting 2 strong headed journalists who often clash with each other due to their different opinions but when they fall in love , they create fire. The story is interesting , holds a lot of twists , turns , misunderstandings, confusions , new revelations which makes you curious as to what will happen next. It's about a toxic relationship so obviously there will be a lot of heartbreaks too . It's a roller coaster ride 💫

Kushal as Reyansh who is a passionate journalist , the CEO of a news channel but personality wise , he is a misogynist who has never felt love and never loved anybody, and this has left a deep scar in his heart. Kushal plays Reyansh beautifully. The suave personality, his dangerous looks , the voice modulations all add a very sizzling spark to his bad boy character.

Shivangi as Aradhna is also a strong role who is new to the journalism but extremely passionate and holds the drive to achieve her goal and stubborn at it. She essays the role beautifully and adds a tinge of sensitivity and emotion to the character.

STOP AIRING THIS SHOW
alkacgupta9 November 2023
For the love of God, please stop airing this show. It is an abysmal show of story writing and screenplay. The leads are as annoying as each other. The FL has an annoying screechy voice and if you are able to bear with that, you have the poorly written character who is dumb as a doorknob. No woman these days is as dumb or naive despite being educated. The ML is played by an actor who seems to be dragging his feet. All in all there is no growth or going forward in this show. Immature writing paired with skewed biased screenplay. Whilst other tv shows on the same channel and others show how progressive and modernised woman are, this show takes back the idea of femininity back centuries.

Started off well but now is utterly stupid
bhavikabhatia-6510513 January 2024
This show started well with the chemistry but hardly gave the characters a chance.

Aradhana claims to love Reyansh but has hardly spent time with him and can't seem to get over a toxic person like him. Makers should have shown the characters love story develop a lot more if they wanted us to believe in her love story and her not being able to get over Reyansh.

She can't even seem to give Jay a chance when he deserves it. Who knows what Ekta kapoor is wanting to show, but in this era they need to show stronger woman roles. Watching Shivangi from being a sherni to this mouse is unbearable. She doesn't need to be stuck to a toxic love story, she should be shown to have a happy live with Jay.

Now they are trying to show Reyansh trying to break her marriage, clearly doesn't set a great example to the generation. Marriage is not a joke.

Initially loved watching this show .
ramyanagam6 December 2023
I used to love watching this show at first but now the show has totally lost its plot . Worst screenplay, pathetic dialogues and what not.

A show can never run solely on the leads chemistry or acting.

There should be a minimum storyline and also the unnecessary screen space of characters who don't even have any impact on the scene.

Why does every itv show have to include a 3rd party to ruin a toxic yet beautiful love story.

Kushal and shivangi deserve a better story with their acting capabilities.

Stop remaking this show as bebaakee.

Atp 💀 PLEASE JUST END THIS DARN SHOW ONCE IT FOR ALL 💀

What a dreadful show!
alisasha-4794615 December 2023
It became interesting somewhere in July/August but then started going downhill to a point that its an insult to human intelligence in 2023. Who is the intended audience? Who enjoys such lame storyline, toxic characters and above all such a stupid screenplay. I wonder who the writer is and above all the director. And do these actors not care what they are being cast in? The last 1 month has been literally nauseating. I was forced to see this because mum somehow started watching it but we have given up! Shame on Sony to air such a problematic show in 2023. The othet show titled Kaavya started off well has equally gone downhill.

Disappointing! Poor story writing
aartitailor-353293 January 2024
Very poorly written show. It's a real shame because the actors and actresses are very good.

Lead female role is an embarrassment to women. For a very modern and educated person she displays no common sense and in some cases backwards mentality. Lead male role is annoying. Both the characters love story is repetitive and has become boring. Some of the plots are far fetched and somewhat ridiculous even for a soap!

The only likable character is Jay Kurana. The show does not deserve his character.

Don't waste your time watching as it has no real purpose and I don't believe the writers know what they are doing.

Same old soap opera
ishan-568801 September 2023
Warning: Spoilers
This is another show which glorifies the toxic masculinity which is present in other shows and then, we have an absolutely perfect female lead who will take all the suffering on her own with no self respect for her.

First off all, there is no chemistry between Reyansh and Aradhna. Reyansh has already done so many injustices that he is literally unforgivable. And yet, still he has guts to come in drunken state and lay a claim over Aradhna calling himself her lover and what not. It is disgusting everytime I see him close to Aradhana. Redemption arc they are trying for Reyansh makes me hate him even more. The way he forces himself on Aradhana ewww

Honestly, I think this show is trying to copy Katha Ankahee which is a successful show on sony, especially with the SeXuAL HAraSSmEnT track. Katha Ankahee is brilliant show and it didn't made a joke of serious subjects like sexual harassment. The characters learnt from their mistakes and their redemption arc is very real and beautiful. Unlike this show where male lead still hasn't learn everything.

Giving one star only for amazing visuals which is trademark of Sony and has nothing to do with the show.

A not very nice show
mercymukoya17 March 2024
This show is crap. Why does Aradhana blame Reyansh for every damn things that goes wrong in her life,I mean the guy clearly loves her. Also Aradhana marrying Jay is an act of selfishness and injustice to Jay. The show must not have too much unnecessary parts just to make it long, that makes it very boring. Bringing Jay into the picture was not really necessary. Making Kriti a villain was also not necessary, the two already had to deal with the villains from the news so they did not need one from their family. Vikram and Sunaina have portrayed their roles very well as Reyansh's friends and Reyansh's dad is the most charming actor.

I doesn't even deserve this 1 point.
joshipadma16 February 2024
Warning: Spoilers
I believe in aransh bcz the two red flags should stay with each other only. Finally a toxic serial came to an end .I don't know how you guys appreciate a girl like aradhna who roamed around with her ex even after getting married to Jay (now don't say it wasn't a real marriage are you serious Aradhna and Reyansh always thought the marriage was real and if the marriage would have been real this is clearly cheating). Reyansh is just a selfish and most stupid person to exist First falls in love with a toxic girl who loves to blame him for everything in her life and then ruins his friendship with Jay nad roamed around with her wife. And please aransh fans don't even try to defend these people ok the moments that they were showing between aradhna and Reyansh after Aradhna's wedding was a clear depiction of cheating and Reyansh was ready to betray his friend for this girl. In the end the showmakers suddenly turned Reyansh into a devdas who was not trying to breakup her girlfriends marriage but just trying to help her like seriously. And they tried their best to portray jay a negative character but his change of behaviour was clearly justified bcz believe it or not a person like aradhna is for destroying lives only and that's what she did to Jay's life. Always justifying her romantic moments with reyansh as a misunderstanding or coincidence. Like seriously is she a child? She clearly confess her feelings to Reyansh several times aloud and tried to portray a most "dukhiyari" reality being she made everyone dukhiyari. In this show Aradhna was the real toxic and a big red flag. She was a real toxic person Not loyal to anyone . And why the hell they think killing Jay was a good idea like no he was the only good characters. To conclude deny all you want the characters were as mentioned below

1. Reyansh- A friend betrayer, toxic and selfish too 2. Aradhna -Real Toxic, Red flag not at all deserving to be in Jay's life bcz he deserves so much better (Just the worst female lead)

3. Jay- A green flag

4. Aradhna's friend and Reyansh's friend- Overacting ka bhandar and useless characters

Jay's mother really acted well

And Aradhna's whole family was overdramatic

First few episodes were good of this show but this is a total disaster and overrated.
