The Indie Speed Run is a game jam in which participants have 48 hours to create a fully playable game from start to finish. The contest will take place globally, across 15 live locations to be exact.

Sony have really upped the quality of games recently, no doubt in an attempt to gain brand-loyalty in preparation for their upcoming PS4 release. The last few months have seen Hitman: Absolution, Battlefield 3, Uncharted 3, Xcom: Enemy Unknown, and Demon’s Souls, all of which have proven extremely popular in their respective genres, yet Sony is willing to give them away for next to nothing!
