Ten minutes into the film Dinesh D'Souza is heard stating "..a century and a half ago a young Abraham Lincoln issued a prophetic warning." A century and half from 2014 would place us in the year 1864, Lincoln would be a year away from his death. He was already in his mid 50s closing in on 60 and not so young. Lincoln did indeed make this speech on January 27, 1838 at Springfield, Illinois when he was 28. It was called "The Perpetuation of Our Political Institutions: Address Before the Young Men's Lyceum of Springfield, Illinois". The narrator D'Souza should have been more accurate in assigning the date of the speech to about 175 years(from 2014) ago rather than 150 as many would take it for granted as a Civil War speech.
