It's a cute game but I don't see what the fuss is about.

It has charming retro graphics, atmospheric music, and some truly unique puzzles, but once the newness fades away the game seems a bit lacking and empty.

To complete the game 200%, you have to deal with some truly tedious "puzzles" that merely consist of translating symbols into other symbols. A platformer should NOT have you pulling out a pen and paper every two minutes. Many puzzles are impossible to solve unless you have a controller with the rumble-feature turned on, for others you need a QR barcode scanner.

The map system is a bit frustrating too. The different areas of the game are not numbered or named, and the "world map" is laid out on a 3-d map which is unwieldy and confusing.

They should have given the game more action, made it more like a Zelda or Metroid game; have monsters/enemies, have the player develop new skills and find new tools and weapons. Instead all you do is jump around collecting things.

The game is beautiful and works as a work of art, but the level of gameplay is a bit weak.
