The Fall sword fishing season gets off to a rocky start after engine failure aboard the Sea Hawk sends the Eagle Eye II on a mission of mercy. Then a little coastal boat takes a big risk on the dangerous waters of the Grand Banks.
An accident plagues the Eagle Eye II and leaves the crew a man down while the Sea Hawk and Big Eye battle big seas to get the swords on deck. Also, the Frances Anne sets out with a young greenhorn surfer that has never been on a fishing boat before.
The Eagle Eye II hits a patch of deadly blue sharks and the Sea Hawk and the Big Eye get their lines crossed as they battle for territory. Then, an injury aboard the Frances Anne could cost the crew thousands of dollars in lost wages.
Stormy seas beat up the Eagle Eye II as tempers flare aboard the Big Eye. The Frances Anne scrambles to find another crewman when they lose their greenhorn and a rogue wave nearly sends a man overboard on the Sea Hawk.
Chomper's temper threatens to incite a mutiny on the Big Eye and sharks take a bite out of the Frances Anne's catch. Also, Linda is left high and dry as a crew member quits and cabin fever strikes the Eagle Eye II after five weeks at sea.
The Big Eye starts a turf war to fill their hold with fish as the Eagle Eye II battles rough seas and broken gear. Aboard the Sea Hawk, a faulty electrical line puts a man down and a 30-foot rogue wave hits the Frances Anne in the dead of night.
As the weather turns bad, the Big Eye takes a chance and sets out as a storm approaches while the Eagle Eye II battles fatigue, rogue waves and sharks.
As the Sword season comes to end, the Big Eye gambles on one last set. A disappointing off load for the Sea Hawk ends their cursed season and the Eagle Eye II gets pushed to the limit in a race to fill their hold with swords.
