The title of this episode is a quote from the movie Ghost (1990), in which Molly (Demi Moore) was in danger of being killed by her late husband's best friend, Carl Bruner. Carl was played by Tony Goldwyn (President Fitzgerald Grant). See more »

[first lines]
President Fitzgerald Grant: [speaking at news conference] Today I can confirm that former CIA Director Grayden Osborne was responsible for a leak of confidential information to our foreign adversaries. We believe he was a mole working in the United States government. It's unfortunate for me to say that a man I appointed, a man I trusted, was secretly and actively working against this country in hopes of destroying it. But he did not succeed. Our national security is intact. Our intelligence community is ...

Scandal: Molly, You in Danger Girl!

So Molly (Mageina Tovah), who claimed Osbourne was the one responsible for Wendy's murder emerges as a liar who fingered an innocent man. Osbourne's supposed suicide is determined to be murder as his wife comes to Olivia and her team for help to clear his name. The President goes on television to announce Osbourne as the mole, while Jake, who appeared to be perhaps someone nefarious, begins a budding sexual relationship with Olivia. Fitz is guilt-stricken about murdering Verna, while Cy tries to repair his broken marriage to James after the admittance of Defiance has fractured what they had. Huck investigates a storage facility, while Quinn waits in the car. Eventually Quinn, through some serious, contentious debate with the security guard in the facility, is able to find the shed Huck has been attacked in (someone who seems to be a threat to Olivia and her team hit Huck numerous times over the head, locking him in a trunk). Huck is out of commission (the waterboarding incident he hasn't recovered from; this incident only made things totally worse), while Olivia discovers that Jake was spying on her, turning on the screens that shown all the cameras in her home were recording, collapsing to the floor after scuffling with him (he tries to explain that he is protecting her, as someone in a ski mask enters her domicile with seemingly hostile intentions). Fitz and Mellie go on television to speak about their first meeting (a carefully crafted fiction; ultimately, a great scene has Fitz deeply bothered by if he has turned Mellie into a liar, into sort of fabricated human being), while Molly, after being confronted by Harrison, Abby, and Quinn at the airport regarding her lie about Osbourne, admits that if she hadn't done that someone (forcing her to do so) would kill her. Well, a hit and run confirms this as Molly is murdered. Fitz starting to converse with Cy about not giving up on love opens an emotional dialogue between the two which softens the wall that had been between them. Abby admits she has feelings for David while he doesn't feel he can trust her, believing she stole the Cytron card that demolished his career. Olivia is now locked in a love triangle as Fitz visits her in the hospital, with Jake's handshake shared with him alerting her to a friendship between the two. Lots going on with no let up.
