Amy is strongly advised to return home, but the headstrong Detective i now armed with a vital piece of evidence, and aims to stay and to put things right.
Amy has now turned into a cross between Jessica Fletcher and James Bond, she's been kidnapped, shot at tasered, she's beating people up, and also breaking every single regulation in the book, trampling wherever she feels, as only JB Fletcher can.
I was so full of hope after episode one, I gave it a very positive review, I really wanted the rest of the series to follow suit, it just hasn't, I'm really sorry to say, but this was yet another sub far episode.
I'll try to be constructive, in a situation like this, there are always blurred lines, nothing is ever straightforward, with all that's happening in this world, this was a little too near the knuckle, and its trying tok hard to split it into good and bad guys.
Amy's behaviour, I'm sorry, but never in a million years, if she'd have been told she was leaving, she'd have been on that plane.
It was slightly better than the last two, but those were pretty poor, I thought Suranne Jones and Romola Garai do a decent job, but the script just doesn't work.
5/10.
