Let's start with the animation; it's a lot - and I mean a lot - better than Hammer and Bolter. The world's come to life beautifully, the antagonists are believable - and the vibe is grim (though I would like it to be even more).
The story is a bit generic, so don't go in with too much expectations here. The characters are well introduced though and it's enjoyable. Especially the Idoneth mage is a cool variation in the cast. The stormcasts are still a bit too flat for my liking. The attempts to make them feel more human by illustrating the burdens of reforging were not enough.
If you are an Age of Sigmar fan, this show is a must watch. I hope Games Workshop makes more of these!!
