A fantastic achievement
19 June 2013 | by (United States) – See all my reviews

I saw this brilliant little film at the Hoboken International Film Festival and was blown away by the challenge the making of this movie presented, and how the talented cast and crew pulled it off. To me, it is one of the most intense films I've ever seen simply because being only one shot it keeps you on the edge of your seat. Director John Asher made a bold choice of never cutting the camera, and it works to say the least. His brilliant and patient direction settles itself comfortably on the screen with his skillful cast. Ray Abruzzo is as charming as he is engaging. The entire cast was spot on and were a joy to watch. There were moments when I laughed extremely hard, and moments when I had a lump in my throat. Funny, light hearted, and sincere, "Somebody Marry Me" is a must see!
