Hilarious and Clever Set Up,

Dark Knight Court is a fantastic Simpsons episode with two very good story lines that are well written and packed with the usual Simpsons comedy that makes it so enjoyable.I preferred the Mr Burns as a superhero story,it was hilarious seeing him dressed up in a Batman type suit and thinking he was saving the day, certainly a very memorable moment of the twenty fourth season.Bart's courtroom story certainly wasn't as funny but it was still very well written and enjoyable, and I really liked how they combined both stories at the end.Dark Knight Court is a very funny Simpsons episode that is certainly not forgetful.

While Mr Burns tries to fulfill his lifelong dream of becoming a superhero,Lisa steps in to defend Bart against a false accusation

This the funniest modern The Simpsons episode ever! It actually knows how to make something good come out of having characters out of character.

This episode's title lets you know that its 2 plots spoof either Dark Knight or Night Court. While I don't remember too much of the Night Court plot, there was still a few good jokes that I remember. I definitely found the Dark Knight plot to be a lot better and it was also even funnier than the Night Court plot. It was also a really good episode because Bart and Mr. Burns had more to their character in this episode than just being a prankster or cruel old boss man. After Mr. Burns regrets turning down Lisa's help, he eventually steps in to defeat the real culprit who framed Bart. It was also really cool to see Mr. Burns want to be a hero for once instead of being the villain all the time, and he even surprised himself by doing this thing.

So if you've been feeling sour from really bad episodes lately like Postcards from the Wedge or Love is a Many Strangled Thing or Lisa Goes Gaga, be glad that The Simpsons can still have really good episodes afterwards that are as good as the earlier seasons and in this case, even provide something new and beneficial in writing characters. I would love to see more episodes with Fruit Bat Man and The Dependables and I should probably write episodes like that to get The Simpsons to 700 episodes. This episode's proudest crowning achievement was how both plots managed to reverse flanderization for Bart and Mr. Burns, by showing us a more moral side to the anti-hero protagonists of each plot without ditching their original personality entirely. This imdb review is dedicated to the loving memory of Janet Reno. Kudos to her George W. Bush joke after Skinner made Ralph think of a field day.

I just watched this episode on Sky One earlier today and I just have one thing to say: this episode in particular was secretly produced by Llywodraeth Cymru. As such, this is legit cool, although I'm not impressed by how they decided to hide it from us!

The Simpsons Dark Knight Court

Warning: Spoilers
Bart is accused of a prank at the Easter festival just because he laughs when in the end it turns out to be Groundskeeper Willie who was responsible because he hated Easter. Burns accidentally went into the comic book store thinking back on his past giving him the idea to become Fruitbat Man and while Smithers paid him winning the day for most of the episode he saved the day in the end capturing Willie. Janet Reno made an appearance on the show as she was the judge for this easily won case and when Lisa made a mistake it gave Moe a scene on the stand which was one of the funniest things to happen as he talked about the phone calls Bart would make to the bar and in the end of the episode we saw him be more scared of the phone. Nice episode with some nice material for Burns other then being the creepy old guy.

EPISODE GRADE: C+ (MVP: Harry Shearer)
