What makes Diane think that Peter Florrick will be elected governor? Her appointment to the State Supreme Court hinges on that crucial factor. If they want Baranski on the show full-time, I'm wagering that Florrick loses in an upset.

Anyway, she decides to have herself vetted and who better to do this is the Archie Panjabi character! The latter does quite a job and there are things revealed there which are amazing and potentially hurtful to a confirmation.

That lunatic, who obviously killed his wife in a previous episode, is at it again. That judge was certainly no-nonsense and to the point. He really wanted things expedited.

Dylan Baker is so great when he comes onto the show as Colin Sweeney and once again he made another great visit to the show which was not his best but he still was funny and great. The exploration into the past of Diane with Kalinda helping gave some great material to Christine Baranski and also brining back Diane's lover Kurt (Gary Cole) to the show made the episode go to Baranski. Carey and Robyn are characters I never expected would be put together and the great thing is they were great especially Jess Weixler who fits right into the atmosphere of the show. Going back to Diane's past the story of her father being a bad guy was very emotional especially the character of Diane who loved her father only to be disappointed by him. Morena Baccarin was good in her small appearance and I believe she was better used then she ever is on Homerland where she is a regular to the show. Great episode with some funny moments and now that Alicia has let Will go he gets to be with Laura who has someone else which could potentially put Will and Alicia back together.

EPISODE GRADE: B+ (MVP: Christine Baranski)
