Mostly a yawn
31 March 2013 | by See all my reviews

I hoped when this was a two part episode that it would live up to the hype. Sadly it did not. The overall concept was not bad; however, the execution fell flat. First, I don't watch NCIS LA to watch a bunch of new characters, rather I like the existing characters. The interaction between the teams seems manufactured and forced. While there were spurts of the banter, it was too little and left the overall episode slow and uninteresting. By the time the episode ended, I truly did not care.

If this is the network's attempt to spin-off NCIS LA into another series, in my opinion this was not a good showing. Nothing presented in this story arc would inspire me to watch the red team.
