The Will and The Blast

At the start of the episode we have JR's Will read. It is not as unusual as I expected from the sultan of evil and in a neat twist it turns out Miss Ellie throws a curve into the proceedings. It is not real logical why this would happen but hey, it is JR. I still wonder when the rest of JR's plan is coming.

Meanwhile, John Ross welcomes Christopher to the dark side though Christopher turns down his own chance to be a junk yard dog. What is funny is I remember in early episodes of the original series where JR and Bobby both went out catting even though they were both married.

That is one thing with this show that is no where near real life as the females in this seem a lot more willing to get it on then they would be in real life. This is Dallas though, things are supposed to be bigger and more exciting with the Ewings being bigger than real life.

We have some more fun as Ryland and his mommy dearest split up and Cliff Barnes pulls of the ultimate blasting good time. Next show we find out who gets killed, hurt, or maimed. In real life I think a bomb on an oil platform would cause all kinds of pollution. So we will find out if we get an oil slick out of this next show too.

Joan Van Ark from Knotts Landing makes her first guest shot in this one as she is facing off with Sue Ellen who is drinking again as her reaction to JR's death. Of course Valene and Gary used to be married so they have a bit of a confrontation too. Dallas is getting a bit tied up in Knots here.
