I have to start off by saying this, it's 1953, seen through the eyes of someone from sixty years on, perhaps original attitudes wouldn't have been suitable for afternoon BBC.
I did enjoy this though, we have the core of the story, the overall story, and we get to meet the wives, they are all so interesting. I enjoyed the first, thought this second was even better, it's actually quite a gritty watch.
I love the John's living room, the bar is absolutely awesome, green padded leather, I want one. The music is absolutely fantastic throughout.
It's proving better than I expected it to be, 8/10.
